Emissions Calculations

CO2 Neutraal takes its best endeavors to base its emissions calculations on the most up to date emissions factors published by reputable sources. These emissions factors can and do change over time. If new information is published, CO2 Neutraal will not assume a responsibility to alter its emissions reductions liability for calculations that it has done in the past.

Sales

CO2 Neutraal takes no responsibility for any errors and omissions made by purchasers when entering their data into the CO2 Neutraal web calculators. When a purchaser makes a payment to offset his CO2 emissions CO2 Neutraal will add the CO2 emissions to its liabilities and will fund projects on the purchaser's behalf that will make a reduction in atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations over time compared to a business as usual scenario. The purchaser will receive a certificate, sent by email, to demonstrate that the emissions are being offset. The purchaser will not receive title to the emissions reductions achieved by any of CO2 Neutraal's emission reduction projects. CO2 Neutraal undertakes not to sell any emissions reductions to more than one party.

Billing and Refunds 

If you have a query about our services or would like to request a refund please contact CO2 Neutraal in the first instance. Unfortunately due to the characteristics of our business it is not possible for us to make refunds at any time.

Verification

Each of CO2 Neutraal's projects has its emissions reductions monitored by a third party. In order to guarantee transparency, no use will be made of companies that are shareholders of CO2 Neutraal or any subsidiary from such companies or from CO2 Neutraal to monitor and/or certify the reductions made by each of CO2 Neutraal’s projects.

Data Protection

CO2 Neutraal is committed to retaining the confidentiality of its customers and will not pass personal data on to any third party. However, where we have websites that are co-branded with a partner organization we may in some circumstances be required to share information on the identity of parties making a purchase with the partner organization. If this is the case, you will be asked separately whether you wish to receive further communications from that partner.

Other Legal Provisions

EXCEPT AS SET FORTH EXPRESSLY IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, CO2 Neutraal MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER IMPLIED OR EXPRESS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  All our estimates regarding the quantity of emissions reductions are subject to changes of emission factors from reputable sources CO2 Neutraal uses. 

In no event shall either party be liable to the other party for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, loss of revenues or profits.  All damages shall be limited to actual damages only. 

All information included on the web pages or pop-ups linked to in these terms and conditions is incorporated into these terms and conditions by this reference, with the same effect as though fully set forth herein.

Law

The agreement set forth in these terms and conditions and any purchase on this site shall be governed by, and construed and enforced in accordance with, the laws of the Netherlands.
